Detangling a big mess!
Indigenous X approached us for assistance in improving overall site stability. As a multi-faceted organisation promoting Indigenous issues, as well as fundraising and employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians, we were exited to help.
The website had been gradually and inelegantly expanded over the years, resulting in a mess of non-compatible plugins, significant performance, functionality, stability and security issues and a big headache.
In an ongoing project, we first determined that the ideal starting point was to disentangle the advertising, employment and donation functions from the main website, and utilising a variety of subdomains hooked into the base site, we were able to set up new job boards, a new donation portal, and an ad server that allows delivery of ads across the network with precision control.
Our ongoing work is to optimise the base site, and continue to improve the functionality of the job, ad and donation portals to help this wonderful organisation achieve even better results.
